Stuff & Other Nonsense:
Among my favorite things are movies that take you deep into another culture. Sometimes, when I'm coming home, making the tiny trek from car to patio laden with my many bags (purse, computer bag, lunch bag, grocery bag, etc.) I think, 'I have too much stuff.' Samurai warriors could move from town to town carrying all of their belongings in one small hobo-pack. For more on the irresistible Zatoichi, see the Movie section.
Other times, stuff delights me. How happy-making it is to have exactly the right tool for the job! Gadgets and other life-enhancing products The Soda-Stream! The travel pillow! If you're looking for a treat for yourself or as a gift, check out this growing nexus of essential items.
Books, movies, gadgets and music. I'll be posting helpful links to these below. Because it's even better when your stuff features the talents of people you know, the work of friends and aquaintances is highlighted... Enjoy!
Music:
Instrumental music, mostly orchestral or jazz, welcomes you to the waiting room at my office. You'll hear Mozart, Vivaldi, Brahms and Bach -- but somehow I always smile more when I hear one of the amazing waltzes on this unique album by Gunnar Madsen.
